Absolutely Wonderful!![]()
Unlike the other reviewers, I did not purchase this stroller for "outdoor" use. My son is two and a half years old. He is very, very big for his age. (He wears size 5 clothes..not 5T..and size 11 shoes!!) He has out grown every stroller I have ever bought. I did some searching and decided to try this one out. It was the best desision I could have made!! He absolutely LOVES this stroller!! He cries when I put it away. He has plenty of room, I have plenty of room and there is no danger of him out growing this for some time. It is a rather large stroller..I have to agree on that point, but being able to again take my son out for the day and not have to carry him or try and hold on to him is well worth the room that is taken up in my trunk.
Niiiice!![]()
I love my new Jeep all terrain stroller. Don't be fooled though, the tires are not inflatable. They just look it. I'm not terribly disappointed because these tires make the stroller lighter. And I don't have to worry about the tires deflating. My 15 month old looks comfortable, with plenty of room to grow into it. I give it four stars instead of five because the waist straps are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to adjust. It's one of those loop-through tricks that takes getting used to...not a simple procedure by any means. They definitely cheaped-out on that. But the stroller is very easy to maneuver, which is why we bought it. I'm happy.
Great Second Stroller![]()
Like the previous poster, I bought this stroller for outdoor use. It moves effortlessly over grass, sand, tree roots, etc. and navigates so smoothly over flat terrain that it's actually fun to push which, in my case, makes me more likely to find excuses to take it out. Also, my daughter, who is 10 weeks old, is very content reclined in the roomy seat - lots of space to stretch out the way that young babies tend to do.
The MP3 connection is a nice feature and, though it isn't very loud, I find it appropriate for being outdoors around others and near the tender ears of a baby or toddler. Besides, unless you're by yourself, you're probably not going to be listening to it anyway. Another feature I like is, in addition to the large storage area in the back, there's a small area located in the front of the stroller just above the front wheel that's easily accessible for my other children to throw their various toys and other small items in when they tire of carrying them (which they always do.) The fact that this stroller holds an infant car seat is also wonderful. Just like the travel systems I've had before, this stroller gives me the option of leaving my baby in her infant seat when she is sleeping or I am in a hurry.
As you would expect, this stroller is quite heavy and large when folded, but I expected that given that it's meant for rugged, outdoor use. Still, for quick trips and indoor venues, I use an inexpensive lightweight stroller frame for infant seats the fits eaily into the smaller of my family's two vehicles. But, even without a larger vehicle to transport the stroller I probably would have still purchased it for daily walks (this is not a jogging stroller) around the neighborhood -something I missed out on with my first two children because I found it so unpleasant to push a regular, seemingly flimsy stroller over pebbles and dirt but didn't want to invest in a more substantial second option for outdoors.
